In an interview, she shared details about the joyous occasion. The Prince and Princess of Wales are delighted with the arrival of a new addition to their family. Maddison recently introduced her newborn son in the interview, expressing her happiness by saying, "Our family finally feels complete."
The baby, named Michael Adam after his grandfather, was born at home on August 6, weighing just 1.5 kg. After 40 hours of labor, complications arose when the umbilical cord broke, requiring an emergency hospital transfer. Although the experience was difficult, it ultimately brought great joy to the family. Maddison recalls the tense moment:
"I took my baby out of the water and held him to my chest, and then I heard a bang, which was very alarming." Thankfully, both mother and child are now healthy. Maddison, a former Ralph Lauren model, is also preparing for another important event: her upcoming wedding to Bret Kapetanov, the father of her child. At just 30, she is already a mother of three: Daphne (7), Phebe (5) and Moses (3).
She met Bret, a Canadian mechanic, during her divorce while visiting her hometown of Windsor, Ontario. Bret describes their first meeting: “Sparks flew and there was an irresistible magnetic attraction between us. We were irresistibly drawn to each other and we kissed. It was true love.”
Despite coming from very different backgrounds, Bret from a farming community and Maddison from the glamorous world of fashion, the couple were united by a shared commitment to sustainability and Christian faith. Their love story shows that relationships can flourish in the most unexpected of circumstances.
