Princess Catherine has curated a small exhibition at the V and A East, featuring an eclectic mix of historical artefacts. Highlights include a Beatrix Potter watercolour, a medieval Somerset cathedral tile and a Welsh blanket handmade nearly 200 years ago. One particularly captivating piece is Oliver Messel’s costume from The Forest Fairy, worn by Diana Ver in the Royal Ballet’s 1960 production. The choice may have been inspired by Catherine’s daughter, Princess Charlotte, who was known for her passion for dance.
