t's not every day you are on a frozen lake in a 917K, but here we are! I'm in Norway with 917cfk and this extraordinary recreation of a Porsche 917 that is fully road legal, and today out on the ice.

After a challenge to squeeze in alongside Knut, it's a raw and unique experience ahead! It's hard to describe this vehicle, effectively created by Knut and some key partners to bring the story of the Porsche 917 and its immense success racing in the 1960s and 70s to a vehicle that is road registered and can be driven on the streets of Norway.

With an engineering background, a love of Porsches, and an immense passion for the 917K, the result is something really quite extraordinary. Not only that though, today we're meeting with Knut to take a look at this creation at Icedrive Events in Gol, a couple of hours from Oslo, and with an opportunity to get sliding on the frozen lake.

To fit it out for the occasion, the car wears a twin pair of studded wheels at the rear with bespoke 3D printed connection parts in order to make the most of it in these conditions.
