The Royal Family has personally funded a groundbreaking new project aimed at improving mental health outcomes for individuals in rural communities, which comes after the couple. Their growing list of activities William and Catherine have significantly expanded their team in the last financial year. The Palace has confirmed that the number of staff working for the Prince and Princess of Wales' household has increased.
Among their other charitable endeavours are Williams’s private secretary Patrick, who started in March, and Catherine’s private secretary Tom White, who joined in May. Bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to their new roles, along with an upcoming mental health initiative, William and Catherine have worked tirelessly on a number of other major projects between 1 April 20123 and 31 March 2024. They have continued to support causes that resonate deeply with them, including the Williams Earth Shot Awards and the launch of his homelessness initiative Homewards in June 2023.

Experts in children and adults and global thinkers are looking for the first time at how we develop, think and behave throughout our lives to build resilience for the future as William takes on a number of new charitable roles to reflect his responsibilities in Wales and as Duke of Cornwall. Williams’ recent roles include becoming Patron of the Wales Charity Card and the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Society as well as President of the Victoria Cross and George Cross Societies. He has also moved from President to Patron of the Fields and Trusts and Patrick’s new role as Patron emphasises that the Prince and Princess of Wales’ top priority is to be taken on.
