On a cold street, a kitten was found tormented by mange and loneliness. The baby was barely alive, barely making sounds that were more like bleating. Passersby noticed the kitten but passed by without deciding to help it.

Some were disgusted, others didn't want to take responsibility. Only dedicated volunteers, risking the health of their other cats, decide to care for this kitten. The first thing that impressed them was its small size. In the photo he looks older but in reality he is very small. Scabies turned out to be much more serious than expected.

The baby was probably infected by his mother, who may also have been a victim of the disease. Without his mother, Barsik desperately sought help from humans. He crawled towards them, barely able to breathe, with pleading eyes. He didn't even have the strength to mew, only a deep groan escaped his exhausted chest. But the volunteers did not abandon him.

They called him Barsik, because of his floppy ears, like the cartoon character, and covered him carefully. The veterinarian examined the kitten and placed it in a heated cage where it could finally warm up. For several months, Barsik fought fiercely for his life.

He patiently endured all the procedures, ate well and gradually gained weight. Its fur is growing longer and a spark is flashing in its eyes. One day, on a beautiful sunny day, a family came to take shelter. They walked for a long time among the enclosures, looking at the animals. And suddenly their eyes fell on Barsik.

The little kitten with its soft ears and touching appearance immediately won their hearts. They held him in their arms and Barsik, purring, snuggled against them. That day, Barsik found his home. A home where he is loved, where he is cared for and where he is loved. He was no longer cold, no longer hungry and no longer felt lonely.
